Sound Body has recently determined the FDA has taken an aggressive stance on certain herbal compounds -- in the present instance, herbs that are used to control skin growths.

This regulatory posture involves a questionable redefinition of herbs as drugs. While it is likely the recent moves by regulatory agencies (such as the FDA) will ultimately be challenged in court, in order to continue to abide by the laws of the land, we have chosen to voluntarily remove some herbal products from our catalog in order to preclude any legal difficulties.

We are aware of one vendor that produced these herbs that recently received a letter from the FDA informing them of the government's position in the matter. Although Sound Body has never received any correspondence, or notification from any regulatory agency stating the herbs we were distributing are now considered to be drugs (and thus a regulated substance), we have decided to cease distribution of herbal compounds of this nature.

We regret this situation, but there are many out there that do not believe you, the individual, should be allowed to determine your own course of treatment for the many maladies that presently affect modern man. We would continue to urge all Americans to resist, through legal means, those that seek to regulate your choices in this life (II Peter 2:19).
